FUNCTIONS AND TASKS:

1. To research, propose the strategies, master plan for Vietnam’s urban system development

2. To research and deploy scientific research programs, economic services and planning projects in the fields of urban development

3. To co-operate with organizations and individuals in Vietnam and foreign countries in the fields urban development and methodology

4. To research, propose and participate in compiling legal documents as acquired by the Institute’s leader

5. To participate in training activities

6. To do other tasks assigned by the director of VIUP in accordance with functions and tasks of the unit.

7. To make statistics, reports on division’s activities according to the acquirement of the Institute
