FUNCTIONS AND TASKS:

- To be responsible for building, maintaining architectural, planning database system and storing all documentations on design, survey, project and scientific research of the Institute in technology on informatics and GIS.

+ To provide database concerning architecture, planning of the Institute

+ To be a focal unit for managing and storing documentations on architecture, planning in the whole country in technology on informatics and GIS.

+ To collecting the information on architecture, planning to carry out state management work

+ To organize exploiting the information on construction planning in GIS technology

To transfer technology on informatics and GIS in architecture and planning

+ To guide other divisions of the Institute to exploit the planning database

+ To cooperate with concerning units to transfer application of new technology on informatics and GIS in construction planning to the VIUP’s units.

Documentation archives

+ To receive and store all documents on design, planning, survey, project and scientific research project as regulated by the Institute

+ To exploit and use archives documents as regulated by the Institute

- To do other tasks assigned by the director of VIUP in accordance with functions and tasks of the unit.
